In the end, there’s only One authority that matters.

“Because I Said So” is a foundational series designed to equip and encourage the believer in the all-important subject of the authority of God and His Word. Today our culture is putting tremendous pressure on all people to conform to its secular persuasion. Authority on all levels is being challenged and compromised, and no authority is under more attack right now than the Word of God.

For the believer in Christ, now is not the time to yield to culture—but rather with love and conviction stand under God’s authority more than ever. On this critical issue we simply cannot be silent or remain still. We possess an authority that outweighs all others in the Word of God, and it will never fade away (Isaiah 40:8; 1 Peter 2:24-25). We hold in Scripture that which cannot be broken (John 10:35) and that which is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16).

So now is not the time to fade away in fear. No! Now is the time to humbly, but boldly, move forward with truth, that the Church will be strengthened and the lost will be saved.

The importance of this series cannot be overstated. If we are not clear on the authority of God’s Word then we aren’t clear on anything at all.

At the end of the day, we obey and follow the Word of God … because He said so! It’s time to relearn and to reload the truth—as we hold the Bible we hold the very authority of God.
